Countless 3G and 4G users in Pakistan hit 95.38 million by the end of February 2021, when they rose to 92.99 million by the end of January 2021, the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) said.
This shows a month-over-month increase in testing of 2.39 million. Many of Pakistan’s mobile phone users reached 179.9 million by the end of February 2021, compared to 177.61 million by the end of January, an increase of 2.29 million over the reporting period.
Monthly NGMS (Next Generation Mobile Service) infiltration increased from 43.5 percent in January 2021 to 44.54 percent in February 2021.
The absolute average of Jazz 3G customers before the end of February was 8.79 million compared to 8.89 million before the end of January 2021, a decrease of 0.1 million.
The number of Jazz 4G customers rose from 26.24 million before the end of January 2021 to 27.56 million before the end of February.
Zong 3G supporters fell to 5.074 million from 5.17 million before the end of January 2021, while the number of 4G subscribers recovered from 21.38 million before the end of January to 22.042 million before the end of February.
Telenor‘s number of 3G subscribers declined from 5.95 million before the end of January to 5.87 million before the end of February.
The number of 4G customers rose from 14.96 million before the end of January to 15.52 million before the end of February.
Ufone 3G customers fell from 4.62 million before the end of January to 4.59 million before the end of February. Ufone’s number of 4G customers rose from 5.74 million before the end of January to 5.908 million before the end of February.
The telephoto density for portable cell phones rose from 83.02 percent before the end of January to 84.68 percent before the end of February. The absolute telephoto density rose from 85.15 percent before the end of January to 85.81 percent before the end of February.
The PTA received 26,894 complaints from telecom buyers against various telecom administrators including (cell administrators, PTCL, LDI, WLL administrators and ISPs) in March 2021. The PTA stated that it could resolve 26,808 complaints, ie 99%.
According to the PTA, Jazz tops the list with 18,386 complaints and Zong ranks second as the telecommunications manager with the most complaints with 3,013.
Cell phone endorsers form an important part of the general telecommunications support base. Hence, the greatest number of objections have a place in this part. The absolute number of protests against CMOs in March was 26,446.
Regarding the isolation of complaints in the premise of the administrator, Jazz took first place with 18,386 objections, that is 70% of the absolute protests. A total of 3,013 protests were raised against Zong, which is 11.3 percent of the absolute CMO-related complaints.
Ufone had 2,360 objections to its various administrations, representing 8.9 percent of the absolute CMO-related complaints.
Telenor, with the second highest number of buyers, came in third with 2,664, meaning 10 percent of the protests were against it.
In addition, the PTA received 103 protests against key communications, 95 of which were in attendance in March 2021. 336 additional protests against ISPs were received, of which 329 were present.
