Pakistan Army Elevates 30 Brigadiers to the Rank of Major-General

Reports have emerged that approximately 30 brigadiers from the Pakistan Army have received well-deserved promotions to the esteemed rank of Major-General.

The promotion board, responsible for elevating these officers from brigadier to Major-General, convened at the General Headquarters. The meeting was under the capable leadership of Chief of Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir, who presided over the proceedings, according to reliable sources.

Among the notable individuals who have received these promotions are:

  1. Brigadier Shehzad Khan, who serves as the Commanding Officer of the 51st Brigade.
  2. Brigadier AbuBakar Shehbaz holds the position of Deputy Military Intelligence (DMI) in the Plans division.
  3. Brigadier Ali Iqbal, in his role as the Commanding Officer of the 329th Brigade.
  4. Brigadier Kamran Ahmed, serving as the Chief of Staff for the 1st Corps.
  5. Brigadier Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti is currently the Deputy Director-General of Division A at the ISI.
  6. Brigadier Imran Arif oversees the artillery division as the Commanding Officer of the 328th Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) Borne Brigade.
  7. Brigadier Yasir Nawaz Janjua is responsible for artillery operations as the Sector Commander West for the Frontier Corps in Baluchistan (South).
