To help the masses stave off the next wave of inflation amid the Rs.30/- rise in petrol prices, the federal government has announced the 2000 Program Relief Package. Under the Sasta Petrol Sasta Diesel Scheme, Rs. 2,000/- will be awarded to households with monthly incomes below Rs. 40,000/-.
BISP PM Relief Package 2000 Online Apply
During the press conference, Finance Minister Miftah Ismail gave an update on the government’s bailout package. He said those already registered with the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) will automatically receive Rs. 2,000/- under the Prime Minister 2000 rupees Rcheme Pakistan.
- SMS service has been introduced for those not belonging to the BISP. To apply online for the Sasta Petrol Sasta Diesel Scheme, text 786 with your Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) number to verify your eligibility.
- The CNIC ID Card must be owned by a woman in your family. After the SMS has been sent, you will be informed within three days of your 2000 Program eligibility or non-participation.

How Many People Will Benefit From The Sasta Petrol Sasta Diesel 2000 Program Online Registration 2023?
According to the finance minister, up to 14 million families across Pakistan will benefit from the Shahbaz Sharif Relief Package. It should be noted that of these 14 million families, 7.3 million are already registered in the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP).
“2000 PKR will be donated in June and it will cost the government 28 billion PKR. In addition to the 3.3 million beneficiaries of the BISP, this [PM Shahbaz Sharif Relief Package] covers 6.7 million households with a poverty index below 37,” the finance minister said.
