In terms of educational achievement, 16 Pakistani universities have made their positions in the Times Higher Education (THE) Ranking of Asia Universities 2021.
As per the information, the Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) tops the table among the Pakistani universities on the list.
QAU is followed by Abdul Wali Khan University in Mardan and COMSATS University in Islamabad.

The Asian University ranking 2021 uses the same 13 key performance indicators (KPIs) as the QS World University Rankings but focuses on highlighting top Asian universities or institutions.
The Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2021 includes 551 universities from 30 countries, which were rated according to Teaching, Research, Highly Qualified Faculty, Knowledge Transfer, and International perspective.
China took the first two places, while Japan was the most strongly represented country in the Asian university rankings for the second year in a row.
With the 3 universities listed from Hong Kong, It is the most strongly represented territory in the top 10 of the Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2021.
