11 UAE Universities Are Listed in The QS World University Rankings 2024
11 universities in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are listed in the recently published QS World University Rankings for 2024, with Khalifa University and UAE University ranked among the top 300 universities in the world.
Khalifa University Abu Dhabi was ranked 230th in the 2024 QS World University Rankings, the United Arab Emirates University 290th, and the American University of Sharjah 360th.
It also ranked the University of Sharjah at 465, the University of Ajman, and the Canadian University of Dubai at 551.

QS World University Rankings takes the following indicators into account when compiling these rankings on an annual basis:
- Sustainability
- Employment outcomes
- International research network
The results are based on the analysis of 17.5 million scientific articles and the expert opinions of more than 240,000 university teachers and employers. Massachusetts Institute of Technology topped for the twelfth consecutive year, the University of Cambridge retained second place, while the University of Oxford moved up one spot to third place.
